New school

New school in De Bonne

One new elementary school with about 11 classes and, in total nearly 3.000 m2 will be realised and demonstrated in De Bonne.

The school will provide various services such as computer facilities and a restaurant for children. The building will be designed and built with an energy-efficient envelope and heating and ventilation systems that maximizes the usage of internal loads and minimizes the need for external energy supply. The need for indoor lightning will be decreased by daylight optimisation design and the installed lightning equipment will be of high efficiency and low emission standard.

The computers provided to the children (Not included in the Concerto project) are planned to be highly efficient and so will also the restaurant equipment be. The aim is to reach an energy consumption of 30 to 40 percentages below the applicable school indices and far below the current French regulation (RT 2000 and RT 2005).
